receSs is the only sketch and improv comedy group at The George Washington University and is considered one of the oldest comedy groups in Washington, DC. Their monthly shows include video sketches, live sketches and long form improv. Their annual comedy festival, SLATE: The World College Comedy Festival host other collegiate groups as well as a professional headliner. Recent performers for SLATE have included Troy Bond, Pete Holmes, Michelle Wolf, Kate Berlant, Joe Mande, and Upright Citizens Brigade Tour Co.
receSs takes new members through auditions in September, and they will hold auditions in the fall of 2023.
